Selected apprentices will undergo 6 months on-the-job training and on successful completion will be inducted into Grade II (A6). Option 1 : Full time and regular B.Sc. (Chemistry) degree from UGC/AICTE recognized University with Physics as a subject during 3 years course and passing NCVT examination in Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) i.e. AO (CP) trade (to be completed after B.Sc.). Minimum 55% marks in the previous year or average of last two semesters (50% for SC/ST). Option 2 : Full time and regular 3 years Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology from a UGC/AICTE recognized University and successful completion of 1 year Apprenticeship (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act 1961 (to be completed after Diploma). OR Candidates with HSC (Science) with direct entry into 2nd year of such Diploma + 1-year boat training. Minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST). Option 3: Full-time and regular 4-year (8 semesters) or 3½-year (7 semesters) Diploma (including 1-year/6-month industrial training) in Chemical Engineering/Technology under sandwich pattern from a UGC/AICTE recognized University. OR Candidates having HSC (Science) with direct entry into second year of such sandwich diploma. Minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST) |
