JTET 2026: Jharkhand TET 2026 Notification | Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) 2026 Online Form

About the post- Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi has officially released Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) 2026 Notification under Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test Rules-2026 vide Notification No. 487 dated 26-03-2026. It is a state level Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to check the eligibility of candidates for appointment as Sahayak Acharya (Assistant Teacher) in elementary schools (Primary Classes 1-5 and Upper Primary Classes 6-8) in the state of Jharkhand. This examination is conducted at two levels – Level-1 for Primary (Class 1-5) and Level-2 for Upper Primary (Class 6-8). A candidate can appear in both the levels. Eligible candidates must read the official notification for more details.

JTET 2026 Eligibility

Level-1 (Primary) class 1 to 5

  • 12th pass (minimum 50%) + 2-year D.El.Ed (session on/after 09.12.2007)
  • 12th pass (minimum 45%) + 2-year D.El.Ed (NCTE norms 2002, session before 09.12.2007)
  • 12th pass (minimum 50%) + 4-year B.Ed.
  • 12th pass (minimum 50%) + 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
  • Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed (Any Name)

Level-2 (Upper Primary) class 6 to 8

  • Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed (Any Name)
  • Graduation (Minimum 50%) + B.Ed (Enrolled after 29.07.2011)
  • Graduation (minimum 45%) + B.Ed (NCTE norms, enrolled before 29.07.2011)
  • 12th (minimum 50%) + 4-year B.Ed.
  • 12th (minimum 50%) + 4 year BA/B.Sc.B.Ed or B.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
  • Graduation (Minimum 50%) + B.Ed (Special Education)
  • Post-Graduation (minimum 55%) + 3-year Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed

How to fill online form

  1. Visit the official website of JAC www.jac.jharkhand.gov.in And go to the Examination Form Portal section.
  2. Find and click on JTET 2026 Online Application Form link.
  3. Fill all the required personal, educational and training details carefully and correctly.
  4. Upload the required documents – Photo, Signature etc. as per the specifications.
  5. Pay the application fee according to your category through online mode.
  6. Submit the application form and download/printout the confirmation page for future reference.
