About the post- Directorate of Manpower Planning & Recruitment, Naval Headquarters New Delhi has released the official notification for Indian Navy Agniveer (MR) and Agniveer (SSR) 01/2027 & 02/2027 Batch Recruitment 2026. Eligible unmarried male and female candidates from all over India can apply online at official website joinIndiannavy.gov.in from 14-03-2026 to 06-04-2026. Agniveers will provide service for 4 years with monthly packages starting from Rs. 30,000/-. Up to 25% of each batch may be offered permanent enrollment as Sailors (Regular Cadre) in the Indian Navy after 4 years of service.

  • Candidates appearing in class 12th board exam 2025-26 are also eligible (original marksheet is mandatory in later stages).
  • INET: 10+2 Standard | Section: English, Science, Maths and General Awareness | 100 questions | 1 hour.

How to fill online form

  1. Visit Join Indiannavy.gov.in and register/login to your account.
  2. Select the post (Agniveer MR or SSR), fill all the personal and educational details correctly.
  3. Upload passport size recent color photograph (taken not before March 2026, 10 KB – 50 KB) and required scanned documents.
  4. NCC ‘C’ Certificate/Sponsor Candidates must upload the original certificate during Phase I Application (Exemption from INET Exam).
  5. Pay the examination fee of Rs. Rs.550/- + 18% GST through Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card/UPI online mode.
  6. Submit the application and take a printout of the final submitted form. Carry all original documents at every stage of recruitment including INS Chilka.
