About the post- South Central Railway (SCR) has released an official notification for the appointment of 2801 Act Apprentices under the Apprentice Act, 1961 for the year 2025-26. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates residing in the specified districts under SCR jurisdiction in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh. Applications are accepted from 12-03-2026 to 11-04-2026. Selection is purely based on the average of 10th and ITI marks. No written examination or interview will be conducted.

How to fill online form

  1. Go to the official SCR website: scr. Indianrailways.gov.in → About Us → Click on RRC-SCR and Online ACT Apprentice Application link.
  2. Register with your state/district, Aadhaar number, valid mobile number and email ID. Also complete RDAT registration at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and note down the registration number.
  3. Fill all personal details, educational/ITI qualifications and carefully select your preferred trade and Railway Establishment/Unit options.
  4. Upload latest color photograph, specimen signature, 10th mark sheet, ITI mark sheet, National Trade Certificate, RDAT registration form and all other required documents in prescribed format.
  5. Pay Rs. 100/- Application Fee (if applicable) through online mode, submit the form and download/print the confirmation receipt for future reference.
