Qualification (for all posts)

  • Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): 04 years degree in relevant engineering branch from a government institute. Recognized Institute (Full Time/Regular Mode only).
  • Graduate Apprentice (General Stream): 03 years degree in BBA/BCA/B.Com/B.Sc. (Chemistry) from a Govt. Recognized institution.
  • Technician Apprentice: 03-year Diploma (after 10th) or 02-year Diploma (with lateral entry in 2nd year after 12th) in relevant engineering branch. One year diploma is not allowed. Full Time/Regular Mode Only.
  • The date of passing the degree/diploma should not be earlier than 5 years Before the date of joining as trainee.
  • Candidate must be registered on NATS 2.0 Portal (https://nats.education.gov.in).
  • The candidate should not have previously undergone apprenticeship training in any other institute.
  • The candidate must not possess or have completed postgraduate qualification.

How to fill online form

  1. Register first NATS 2.0 Portal at https://nats.education.gov.in
  2. Visit the official website of SECL: www.secl-sil.in → Departments → Human Resources → HRD → Apprentice.
  3. Click on Apply Online link and register on SECL Apprenticeship Portal https://apprenticeship.secl-sil.in/login.php.
  4. Fill the basic information (Name, Address, Date of Birth, Aadhaar, Mobile, Email etc.) and click on Save & Next.
  5. Fill in the educational details: Qualification, Passing Date, Institute, NATS ID, % Marks, and upload SSC Certificate, Degree/Diploma Certificate, NATS Registration Document (PDF, <1MB each).
  6. Upload photograph and signature (JPG/PNG, 200×230 pixels, <500KB each) and Aadhaar card (PDF, <1MB).
  7. Fill in bank details (Aadhaar linked account): Bank name, branch, account number, IFSC code and upload first page of passbook (PDF, <1MB).
  8. Tick ​​the Terms and Conditions checkbox and click final submit. Save/Print the PDF of your application.
