BPSSC Police Sub Inspector SI Main Exam Date 2026, Download Admit Card
About Post: Bihar Police Subordinate Service Commission (BPSSC) has officially released the notice regarding the Main Written Examination for the post of Police Sub Inspector (SI) under Advertisement No. 05/2025. Candidates who have successfully qualified the preliminary examination are now eligible to appear for the main written examination.
As per the official notice, BPSSC SI Main Exam 2026 will be conducted on 27th May 2026 (Wednesday) in two shifts at various exam centers in Bihar. This is an important stage of the recruitment process, and candidates must prepare thoroughly to secure their place in the final merit list.
The first shift of the exam will be conducted from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, while the second shift will be conducted from 02:30 pm to 04:30 pm. Candidates are required to report at the examination center well before the reporting time to complete all the necessary formalities.
As per the official notification, e-admit card for BPSSC SI Main Exam 2026 will be available on the official website of BPSSC from 13th May 2026. Candidates must download their admit card online, as it will not be sent through post. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with valid photo identity proof to the examination centre.
Candidates must ensure that their photograph and details are clearly visible on the admit card. In case the photograph is illegible or missing, candidates should carry additional passport size photographs to the examination centre.
The Commission has also provided an option for those candidates who are unable to download their admit card online. Such candidates can visit the BPSSC office in Patna between 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 22 May 2026 to obtain the duplicate admit card by submitting the required documents.
The exam will be conducted in OMR-based format, and candidates must follow all the instructions carefully while filling the answer sheet. Any mistake in recording details like roll number, booklet number or signature may lead to disqualification.
Candidates are also advised to keep their admit card safe even after the examination, as it may be required during further stages like physical test, document verification and final selection.
