BPSC AEDO Exam 2026 Cancelled: New Exam Date Soon, Check Notice
About Post: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially canceled the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) Recruitment Examination 2026 held between April 14 to April 21, 2026. The decision has been taken after reports of attempts at malpractice emerged at several examination centers during the examination process.
According to the official press release issued on 01 May 2026, the Commission detected the use of unfair means like Bluetooth devices and other electronic gadgets by some candidates. These activities were identified due to strict monitoring and vigilance of the district administration.
BPSC has clarified that strict action has been taken against those involved in misconduct. FIR has been registered, and around 32 candidates have been barred from appearing in future BPSC examinations. This strong action reflects the Commission’s zero-tolerance policy towards fraudulent and unfair practices.
However, it is noteworthy that BPSC has clearly stated that no evidence of question paper leak was found during the investigation. No question paper was recovered outside the examination process nor was any leak confirmed.
Despite this, due to growing concerns through newspapers and social media regarding the sanctity of the examination, the Commission decided to cancel the entire AEDO examination conducted in all 9 shifts. This decision has been taken in the interest of maintaining transparency and fairness for genuine candidates.
Additionally, BPSC has also canceled another examination – Assistant Public Sanitation and Waste Management Officer Examination held on 23rd April 2026 under Advertisement No. 108/2025.
