HPTET 2026 Notification Released: Apply Online, Check Exam Schedule, Eligibility, Application Link and All Details

About Post: Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharamshala has officially released the notification for Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HPTET) June 2026. This examination is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching posts in various schools of Himachal Pradesh. Candidates who want to become teachers for classes from primary to senior secondary can apply for this examination.

HPTET June 2026 Notification was released on 30th April 2026, and the online application process has started from the same date. The last date to apply online is 15 May 2026, while candidates can also apply from 16 May to 18 May 2026 with late fees. The correction window will be available from May 19 to May 20, 2026.

HPTET exam for various subjects including TGT (Arts, Medical, Non-Medical), JBT, Shastri, Language Teacher (Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi, Sanskrit) and Special Teachers will be conducted between June 07 to June 21, 2026. Candidates can apply for one or multiple subjects, but each subject requires separate application form and fee.

This exam plays an important role for candidates aiming for teaching jobs in Himachal Pradesh, as qualifying HPTET is mandatory for most of the teaching recruitments in the state. The TET certificate is valid for life, and candidates can take the test multiple times to improve their scores.
